Tens Unit Helps Offset Pain

I have just started going to the VA for my care, because my medicare advantage plan had such high costs for drugs. The first time I went to my new VA internist, she hooked me up with PT to get a TENS unit. It feels a lot like the spinal cord stimulator I had, and does offset some of the pain, especially the shocking nerve pain. It's not perfect, but it definitely helps, and it may help some of you, too. Talk to your doctors about it. I'd love to hear what you think & whether anyone else has success with it.

That's great! I am always glad to hear when someone finds something to help relieve the pain at all! I am so glad it is helping you out like that and hope it continues to indefinitely.
