HI Everyone,
We at RSD Outreach hope you will join us in supporting this awareness program. The details are below...
Thanks,
Robyn
Many of you have written asking about how to contact the editors of the papers concerning Paula Abdul's article's about her recent struggles concerning her chronic pain and our wish that she discuss more about RSD.
The RSDSA has asked all groups to write to the following places and share their story so we at American RSDHope join them in these efforts. With the members of American RSDHope, the RSDSA, and all the other major Groups across the country, getting together in a joint letter writing effort we can have a huge impact.
American RSDHope has around 5,200 members now. The RSDSA has about the same number. Add in the numbers from all the other groups across the country and we can have a huge impact on these media outlets. Get your friends and relatives to join in a well.
What can you do? Write or send an email to the editors of People and USA Today to thank them for their coverage and offer to tell your story. Let them know there was a mistake concerning the medication Paula took for her RSD, they can get the complete story on our website.
Share our website with them, send them there to get the full story on RSD. Let them know we have had over 5 Million visits to the website, this isn't a little disease by just a few people!
Don't be angry about it, but be assertive! Let them know the true story of life with RSD, that this isn't a disease you get over in a few months typically. That this is a disabling disease. that it is ranked as the most painful chronic pain disease that exists today!
You can also donate to American RSDHope and support our Research and Awareness Programs. See our website for details. Support our Fundraising efforts. Join in, get involved everyone! You CAN make a difference!
Let us all work together to accomplish something special!
